FDHF: Fast Displacement Hull Form, is the result of a study of naval architecture Yacht Hessen Van Oossanen.
The hulls marked with this statement, FDHF, are designed with a geometry of the hull to reduce drastically the power needed to progress.
The tapered line of the hull allows to contain to a minimum the displacement of the water for the whole speed range: this is reflected in an increase of the performance of 30%, while ensuring maximum maneuverability and seaworthiness, and in a reduced fuel consumption, thanks to the low weight.
In fact, the last yacht in the completion phase is a 55mt steel and aluminum with large living space, 2 respectively, in particular of 70 square meters terrace ship owner, and 100 square meters deck higher, is able to move at 15 knots with only 1300 kw (1743 HP).
